The new Wonder Woman TV series, starring Adrianne Palicki is being abandoned, despite having been given the go ahead in March.
NBC executives passed on David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman pilot episode. NBC isn’t confirming specifically why the decision not to proceed with the series is being made, although reports indicate that the pilot tested poorly in screenings, including remarks made that Wonder Woman’s costume deemphasised American patriotism.
It’s a shame. It couldn’t have been easy for Palicki to get into that costume.
